Blomstermaler (2018)

Like the traditional female motif Blomstermaler draws its materials from botany and the domestic.
Anemone, lavender and forget-me-not amongst other plant-material have been collected, classified, dried and pulverized to document their individual stages of decay and to conserve color and essence.
Like in the nature morte the colors have been processed within the principles of the elevation of the dead nature. The layout also draws on elements from this tradition.

The tray displays examples on anatomic and generic kinship for example daffodil that prior to dehydration has been sorted in anatomic parts (like corona, pistil and tepals) just to be re-joined again in another motif.
The table shows the palette and how the different colors forms kinships tht transcend their spieces so that chestnut flower becomes link between tulip and rhodondendron.

The window to the left displays grinded red clay in two nuances. The window to the right displays dust of grass and hundred little
forget-me-not.
