Wayfinding (2023)

Wayfinding is a two piece ceramics project made for Kirsten Kjærs Museum. The project explores local geology in the Rif mountains in the Fès-Meknès region of Morocco where the materials on display have been harvested and processed. Wild clay, and pigments have been sellected because of their mineral properties that sums up their movement across Earth’s crust through time.
The project searches for ways to navigate in a changing world and on a planet in movement; one that shifts form and composition, center of gravity, flow and pressure.
